Coenzyme Q10 is a naturally occurring substance, also known as ubiquinone, that plays an important role in metabolic processes in the human body. It is a coenzyme necessary for the production of energy in cells and at the same time acts as a powerful antioxidant.

Coenzyme Q10 is produced by the human body and is present in every cell. It is involved in the electron transport chain in the mitochondria, which allows the body to produce adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the main source of energy for cells. In addition, CoQ10 has antioxidant properties and helps protect cells from free radical damage.

Coenzyme Q10 has a wide range of applications in medicine and nutrition. Its supplementation may be recommended in cases associated with decreased energy, fatigue, as well as antioxidant support for the skin and cardiovascular system. It may also be prescribed as an adjunctive in the treatment of certain medical conditions, including heart disease, Parkinson’s disease, and migraines. Taking CoQ10 should be discussed with your doctor, especially if you have a serious medical condition or have doubts about its use.
