Hormones are biochemicals produced by the body’s endocrine system and play a role in regulating a variety of biological functions. These chemical messengers carry information from the endocrine glands to various organs and tissues, helping to maintain the balance and coordination of many physiological processes. Examples of hormones include insulin, which regulates blood sugar levels, and adrenaline, which activates the body in stressful situations.

The endocrine system plays an important role in maintaining the health and stability of the body. Endocrine disorders can lead to a variety of diseases, such as diabetes, hypothyroidism, or hyperthyroidism, and may require treatment, including medication and monitoring of hormone levels.
