Inflammatory diseases are a group of pathological conditions characterized by inflammation, which is the body’s response to tissue damage, infection, or other harmful influences. Inflammation is a protective mechanism aimed at eliminating the cause of damage and repairing tissues. However, with an excessive or chronic inflammatory response, tissue damage and the development of various diseases can occur.

Inflammatory diseases can affect various body systems, including the skin (dermatitis, eczema), joints (arthritis), gastrointestinal tract (gastritis, ulcers, inflammatory bowel disease), respiratory tract (asthma, bronchitis), and other organs. Symptoms of inflammation include redness, swelling, pain, fever, and impaired function of the affected organ or tissue. Treatment for inflammatory diseases depends on the cause and includes anti-inflammatory drugs such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), corticosteroids, immunomodulators, and antimicrobials. It is also important to follow a healthy lifestyle, eat right and give up bad habits to reduce the risk of developing inflammatory diseases and improve overall health.
