Lymph

Lymph is a clear fluid that circulates through the lymphatic system and is involved in the removal of metabolic products, the transport of fats, and the functioning of the immune system. It is formed from intercellular fluid and returns to the bloodstream.

The lymphatic system helps maintain the body’s water balance and protects it from infections. Impaired lymph outflow can lead to edema and deterioration of tissue function.
