Panaxosides are a group of triterpene saponins characteristic of ginseng root (Panax ginseng). In the scientific literature, they are often also described by the term “ginsenosides”.
Panaxosides are considered one of the key groups of ginseng bioactive substances, which are associated with the adaptogenic and antioxidant properties of plant raw materials/extracts. The severity of the effects depends on standardization, extract composition and dose.
