Main physicochemical properties: a mixture of non-homogeneous grayish-green pieces with light yellow, grayish-brown, cream, yellowish-gray, orange-red, brownish-red, brown and white inclusions; odor is weak and pleasant.

Pharmacological properties
Pharmacodynamics: the components of the collection contain essential oil, flavonoids, coumarins, polysaccharides, mineral salts, organic acids, tannins, alkaloids, resinous and bitter substances. This complex of biologically active substances has a hypoglycemic effect in type 2 diabetes, which in some cases makes it possible to reduce daily oral doses of antidiabetic drugs and increases carbohydrate tolerance. In type 1 diabetes, no noticeable hypoglycemic effect was observed.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions
Not recommended for patients taking anticoagulants, antibiotics, sulfonamides, contraceptives, hypotensive drugs (calcium channel blockers), hypocholesterolemic drugs (statins), female sex hormones, cardiac glycosides. The drug may potentiate the effect of agents that stimulate the central nervous system, analeptics and hypoglycemic agents, and suppress the effect of sedative and hypnotic drugs. In complex therapy, it may contribute to reducing doses of oral antidiabetic drugs.
Features of application
It is recommended to shake the infusion before use. When using Arfazetin in combination with antidiabetic drugs, it is necessary to follow the rules of administration, precautions and contraindications provided for oral antidiabetic drugs. UV exposure should be avoided during treatment.
Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding: contraindicated.
The ability to influence the speed of reaction when driving a motor vehicle or other mechanisms: although there are no data on the effect of Arfazetin on reaction speed, caution should be used if it is necessary to drive a motor vehicle or operate machinery.
Method of application and dosage
Herbal collection: place 5 g (1 dessert spoon) of the mixture in an enamel dish, pour 200 ml (1 glass) of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and keep in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes. Cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, strain, squeeze the residue into the strained infusion. Bring the volume to 200 ml with boiled water. Take warm, ⅓–½ cup 2–3 times a day, 30 minutes before meals, for 20–30 days. It is recommended to shake the infusion before use.

From the urinary system: irritation of kidney tissue, manifested by pain in the lower back and upon completion of urination.
With long-term use: (more than 2 months) muscle spasm and disorders of the digestive tract may occur.
