Composition:

The components of the collection contain essential oil, flavonoids, coumarins, polysaccharides, mineral salts, organic acids, tannins, alkaloids, resinous, bitter substances. This complex of biologically active substances has a hypoglycemic effect in type II diabetes, which makes it possible in some cases to reduce the daily doses of oral antidiabetic drugs, increases tolerance to carbohydrates. No noticeable hypoglycemic effect was noted in type I diabetes.

Contraindication.
Arterial hypertension, biliary tract dyskinesia, exacerbation of chronic pancreatitis or chronic enterocolitis, nephritis, nephrosis, nephrozonephritis, hyperthermic syndrome, increased excitability, epilepsy, acute infectious diseases, myocardial infarction, arrhythmias, insomnia, neurocirculatory dystonia, thrombophlebitis and a predisposition to it, circulatory failure , endocarditis, uncompensated diabetes, severe kidney disease, gallstone disease.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions.
It is not recommended for patients taking anticoagulants, antibiotics, sulfonamides, contraceptives, hypotensive agents (calcium channel blockers), hypocholesterolemic agents (statins), female sex hormones, cardiac glycosides.
The drug can potentiate the effect of drugs that stimulate the central nervous system, analeptics, hypoglycemic agents and suppress the effect of sedative and hypnotic drugs.
In complex therapy, it can contribute to the reduction of doses of oral antidiabetic drugs.

When using Arfazetin in combination with antidiabetic drugs, it is necessary to follow the rules of administration, warnings and contraindications provided for oral antidiabetic drugs.

Method of application and dosage.
Place 5 g (1 dessert spoon) of the collection in an enamel dish, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and insist in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes. Cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, strain, and squeeze the remainder into a strained infusion. Bring the volume of infusion to 200 ml with boiled water. Take ⅓-½ cup 2-3 times a day 30 minutes before meals for 20-30 days.
