Description

Camphor oil relieves inflammation, has an antimicrobial effect, and helps to quickly relieve joint and muscle pain

The highly effective drug has a pronounced antiseptic effect, as it neutralizes pathogenic microorganisms and helps relieve pain and irritation. It also has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties.

If you suffer from arthritis, rheumatism, myositis, sciatica, or arthralgia, try camphor oil. The drug for external use kills pathogenic microorganisms, as its active components are able to disrupt their cell membranes. In addition, the medicinal product destroys many different compounds, leaving microbes no chance of survival.

Camphor oil also helps relieve skin itching, as it has a counterirritant effect.

Camphor oil should be used for compresses, applications, or rubbing. The drug can be used alone or in combination with other medicinal products intended for external use.

Camphor oil, when applied locally, has antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, counterirritant, and analgesic effects, and relieves skin itching.

These properties are due to the presence of a functionally active oxygen molecule in the camphor molecule, which has a high oxidizing potential, disrupts the cell membranes of microorganisms, and destroys many active compounds that cause inflammation, pain, and irritation of sensitive skin receptors.

Clinical characteristics.

Indications: prescribed for rheumatism, arthritis, arthralgia, myositis, sciatica, and skin itching.

Contraindications: increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug. Bronchial asthma, skin damage caused by burns, impaired skin integrity, and pustular skin diseases.

Special safety measures.

For external use only. Avoid contact of the drug with the eyes, mucous membranes, and open wounds. Do not rub into the nostrils.

In isolated cases, allergic reactions are possible. If such reactions occur, the use of the drug should be discontinued and its residues should be washed off from the application sites with warm water and soap.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions: interaction is not yet known.

Children: do not use in children due to the lack of clinical experience.

Overdose: increased manifestations of adverse reactions, a feeling of intense heat, and burning are possible.

In case of accidental ingestion, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, symptoms of central nervous system depression, dizziness, ataxia, convulsions, hot flushes, drowsiness, and difficulty breathing are possible.

Adverse reactions.

From the skin: allergic reactions, including skin rashes, urticaria, itching, skin irritation, redness, dermatitis, including contact dermatitis.

From the nervous system: convulsions.

From the respiratory system: bronchospasm.
