Description
Castor oil is a gentle cleansing agent for your intestines
The drug stimulates the work of the intestine, as it irritates its receptors and has a laxative effect. Laxative effect usually occurs 5-6 hours after use. Can be used as an alternative to enemas.
Can be used for adults and children over 12 years old.
If you suffer from constipation, try castor oil. You can also use the medicine in cases where it is necessary to clean the intestines before diagnostic procedures.
High efficiency is due to the fact that castor oil reacts with lipase in the small intestine. As a result, ricinoleic acid is formed, which irritates the receptors of the intestine and stimulates its peristalsis.
When used internally, the drug causes contraction of the myometrium at the reflex level.
15-30 g of castor oil should be taken, depending on the duration and manifestations of constipation. If the drug is used to cleanse the intestines, it should be taken 6-7 hours before diagnosis.
