Pharmacological properties.

Pharmacodynamics.

The biologically active substances of the drug exert choleretic, diuretic (increase urine outflow by 150–160%), hemostatic and hypoglycemic effects; increase the secretion of bile, reduce its viscosity, reduce the content of bilirubin, increase the content of prothrombin in the blood and accelerate its coagulation, contribute to the excretion of urates, oxalates, phosphates from the urine.

Clinical characteristics.

Indication.

Cholecystitis, cholangitis, hepatitis with impaired bile secretion; cystitis, urolithiasis, edema; hemorrhagic diatheses, bleeding caused by a decrease in the level of prothrombin (as part of complex therapy).

Contraindication.

Hypersensitivity to the biologically active substances of the drug. Increased blood coagulation, increased prothrombin index, thrombophlebitis, gallstone disease with stones larger than 10 mm in diameter, obstructive jaundice, anorexia.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions. Not studied.

Method of application and dosage.

Place 3 tablespoons of the columns with the receptacles in an enameled dish, pour 200 ml of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and insist in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes. Cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, strain, squeeze the rest to the filtered infusion. Bring the volume of infusion to 200 ml with boiled water.

Take warm every 3-4 hours: adults and children over 14 years old – 1-3 tablespoons each; children aged 10-14 years – 1 tablespoon, 7-10 years – 1 dessert spoon, 3-7 years – 1 teaspoon. Shake the infusion before use.

Put 2 filter bags in a glass or enamel container, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of boiling water, close and infuse for 15 minutes. Take warm every 3-4 hours: adults and children over 14 years old – 2-6 tablespoons each; children aged 10-14 years – 2 tablespoons, 7-10 years – 2 dessert spoons, 3-7 years – 2 teaspoons. Shake the infusion before use.
