Description

The drug of plant origin has an antimicrobial effect – it destroys aerobic and anaerobic microorganisms, as well as relieves inflammation and pain, promotes cell regeneration.
Suitable for adults and children from 3 years old.

If you suffer from stomatitis, gingivitis, pharyngitis, tracheitis or laryngitis, try eucalyptus leaves.
The tool is also indicated for inflammation of the female genital organs. It can be used for fresh and purulent wounds.
Thanks to its rich composition, the drug destroys pathogenic bacteria, eliminates inflammation, soothes pain and stimulates regeneration processes.

Since eucalyptus leaves have a pronounced expectorant effect, the infusion can be used to treat bronchitis and other respiratory tract diseases accompanied by cough.

To prepare the infusion, you need 2 tbsp. spoons of leaves pour a glass of boiling water and insist for 15 minutes in a water bath. For rinsing and inhalation, you need 1 tbsp. dilute a spoonful of the prepared infusion in a glass of boiled water. The procedure should be repeated 3-4 times a day.

Pharmacological properties.
Pharmacodynamics.
Eucalyptus leaves contain essential oil, flavonoids, tannins, ellagic acid, chlorophyll, phenolic acids. This complex of biologically active substances exhibits antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving, astringent, reparative and expectorant effects. Eucalyptus leaf preparations have a detrimental effect on streptococci, staphylococci, dysentery and Escherichia coli, purulent and anaerobic pathogens, promote rapid healing of wounds.

Clinical characteristics.
Indication.
Externally for diseases of the oral cavity and upper respiratory tract (stomatitis, gingivitis, laryngitis, pharyngitis, tracheitis), fresh and infected wounds, inflammatory diseases of the female genital organs.

Contraindication.
Individual sensitivity to biologically active substances contained in the medicinal product. Bronchial asthma, bronchospasm, whooping cough, false croup.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions.

Method of application and dosage.
Place 10 g (2 tablespoons) of leaves in an enamel dish, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and insist in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes. Cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, filter, squeeze the residue to a filtered infusion. Bring the volume of infusion to 200 ml with boiled water. Shake the infusion before use.
Use externally for inhalation and rinsing 3-4 times a day: for adults and children over 12 years old – dilute 1 tablespoon of the infusion in 200 ml of boiled water; children aged 7-12 years – dilute 1 dessert spoon of infusion in 200 ml of boiled water; 3-7 years old – dilute 1 teaspoon of infusion in 200 ml of boiled water.
Place 1-2 filter bags in a glass or enamel container, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of boiling water, cover and infuse for 15 minutes. Use externally for inhalation and rinsing 3-4 times a day: for adults and children over 12 years old – dilute 2 tablespoons of the obtained infusion in 200 ml of boiled water; children aged 7-12 years – dilute 1 tablespoon of the obtained infusion in 200 ml of boiled water; 3-7 years old – dilute 1 dessert spoon of the obtained infusion in 200 ml of boiled water.
In gynecological and surgical practice, use in the form of lotions, washings and douches.
The duration of the treatment course is determined by the doctor individually, taking into account the nature, degree of severity and peculiarities of the course of the disease, the stability of the achieved therapeutic effect and the tolerability of the drug.
Store the prepared infusion in a cool (8-15 °C) place for no more than 2 days.

Children.
The drug is used for children over 3 years of age.

Overdose.
With long-term and frequent inhalation use, dryness of the mucous membranes of the respiratory organs is possible.

Adverse reactions.
Allergic reactions (including hyperemia, rash, itching, skin swelling, urticaria, contact dermatitis). If adverse reactions occur, stop taking the drug.
