Linalool

Linalool is a naturally occurring terpene alcohol found in the essential oils of many plants, such as lavender, coriander, basil, citrus fruits, and orange blossoms. It has a mild floral scent with light woody and citrus notes, making it a popular ingredient in perfumery, cosmetology, and aromatherapy. Linalool is known for its soothing, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties.

In medicine, linalool is used to reduce stress, anxiety and insomnia due to its ability to calm the nervous system. It also has an antispasmodic effect and can relieve muscle pain or tension. Due to its antimicrobial properties, linalool helps fight bacteria and fungi, making it effective as part of disinfectants and skin care products.

In cosmetology, linalool is widely used in creams, shampoos, soaps and other products, not only as an aromatic additive, but also as a component that improves skin condition. Although linalool is safe for most people, in high concentrations it can cause allergic reactions, so its use should be moderate and meet safety standards.
