Description

Who Salicylic-Zinc Paste Is For

A combination product for external use when you need to dry the skin, reduce exudation (“weeping”), soothe irritation, and support the skin in inflammatory rashes. The paste is well suited for situations where an astringent, adsorbing, and anti-inflammatory effect is needed.

When to Choose Salicylic-Zinc Paste

The paste is chosen for skin conditions with inflammation and/or weeping:

  • dermatitis;
  • diaper rash;
  • pyoderma;
  • rosacea;
  • acne;
  • eczema;
  • ulcers with predominant exudation.

What Problem the Product Addresses

Thanks to the combination of salicylic acid (2%) and zinc oxide (25%), the paste works comprehensively:

  • Dries and “absorbs” exudate: zinc oxide has adsorbing and astringent properties and reduces weeping.
  • Reduces inflammation and irritation: helps decrease local inflammatory signs.
  • Antimicrobial support: both components have mild antimicrobial activity.
  • Keratoplastic effect: salicylic acid in a low concentration supports normalization of the stratum corneum.
  • Less “oiliness/moisture” on the skin: suppresses secretion of the sebaceous and sweat glands.

Directions and Special Considerations for Use

  • For adults, apply a thin layer to the affected area 2–3 times a day.
  • Approximate course: 6–20 days (depending on the condition).
  • Do not apply to mucous membranes.
  • Avoid contact with the eyes; if it gets into your eyes, rinse with water.
  • It is not recommended to use on areas with heavy weeping, or in cases of excessive skin dryness.

Compatibility and Comprehensive Care

  • Do not mix with other topical products on the same area at the same time—combining them may form compounds with an unpredictable effect.
  • If you use other topical products in parallel, it is better to agree on a regimen so as not to “layer” preparations.

Why Choose Salicylic-Zinc Paste

  • Convenient paste format: dries and reduces weeping where ointments may feel “too greasy”.
  • Two-direction combination: salicylic acid + zinc oxide (inflammation + exudation).
  • Simple regimen: a thin layer 2–3 times a day.
  • Ukrainian manufacturer: PJSC “Viola Pharmaceutical Factory”.

Salicylic-zinc ointment – helps to get rid of inflammation and rashes on the skin

The drug has an antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effect, destroys pathogenic microorganisms, relieves inflammation and accelerates recovery. It eliminates redness and discomfort, has drying properties, suppresses the secretions of sweat and sebaceous glands. The drug is intended for adults.

If you suffer from dermatitis, pyoderma, eczema, acne, pimples or ulcers with exudate, try salicylic zinc ointment. The active components of the drug have an anti-inflammatory effect. In addition, the product neutralizes pathogenic microorganisms, dries the skin and has a keratoplastic effect.

The ointment effectively eliminates local manifestations of inflammation, while its active components do not enter the systemic bloodstream.

The drug for external use must be applied in a thin layer to the affected areas. The procedure should be repeated 2-3 times a day. The duration of treatment is from 6 to 20 days, depending on the degree of severity and manifestations.
