Composition:
active substance: sulfur;
1 g of ointment contains 0.33 g of sulfur;
auxiliary substances: white soft paraffin, purified water, emulsifier T2.

Pharmacokinetics.
When sulfur ointment is applied externally, simple sulfur and white soft paraffin, which are part of it, are practically not absorbed into the systemic circulation.

When used simultaneously with drugs for external use, new compounds with unpredictable effects may be formed. The interaction of the ointment with oxidizing agents (hydrogen peroxide, potassium permanganate) can lead to chemical burns.
Features of application.
Do not allow the ointment to get on the mucous membranes and in the eyes. Hands should be thoroughly washed after applying the ointment.
Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
The safety and clinical effectiveness of the drug during pregnancy or breastfeeding have not been studied, so the ointment can be used during this period only when the expected benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus or child.
