Description

The herbal preparation contains flavonoids, tannins and other biologically active components that have an expectorant effect and relieve cough.
The tool also relieves spasm of smooth muscles, improves general well-being and accelerates recovery. In addition, it increases the tone of smooth muscles and has soothing properties.

Swamp shoots contain arbutin glycoside, flavonoids, tannins, essential oil (up to 7.5%). The composition of the oil includes sesquiterpenoids, ledol, palustrol, cymol, geranyl acetate. Due to the presence of these substances, preparations from common mud have antispasmodic, expectorant, diaphoretic, diuretic, disinfectant and sedative properties, dilate blood vessels and lower blood pressure, increase the tone of smooth muscles.

Clinical characteristics.
Indication.
As an expectorant and antitussive agent in the complex therapy of acute and chronic diseases of the upper respiratory tract (bronchitis, tracheitis, laryngitis, whooping cough), bronchial asthma.

Contraindication.
Increased sensitivity to components of plant raw materials. Increased excitability.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions.
With simultaneous use, it can increase the effect of hypnotics and drugs that suppress the central nervous system. Do not use with cough suppressants.

Features of application.
Using during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
The drug is contraindicated during pregnancy, as it has stimulating properties and affects the muscles of the uterus, increasing its tone. It is possible to use the drug during breastfeeding only after a careful assessment by the doctor of the ratio of benefits for the mother/risk for the child.

The ability to influence the speed of reaction when driving vehicles or other mechanisms.

Method of application and dosage.
Put 2 tablespoons (10 g) of shoots in an enamel dish, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of boiling water, cover and heat in boiling water (in a water bath) for 15 minutes, cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, strain. Squeeze the remaining raw material into a filtered infusion, and bring the volume of the infusion to the initial volume of 200 ml with boiled water. Adults and children over 12 years of age take ¼ cup internally warm 2-3 times a day after meals.
The term of treatment is determined by the doctor individually and depends on the course of the disease, its severity, and the nature of complex therapy. Shake the infusion before use.

Children.
Bogno ordinary is a poisonous plant. Due to the impossibility of its exact dosage, the drug should not be used in children under 12 years of age.

Overdose.
Large doses can lead to excessive excitement, and in severe cases – to depression of the central nervous system.

Adverse reactions.
Allergic reactions, including skin rashes, are possible.

Expiration date. 3 years.

Storage conditions.
Store in a place inaccessible to children, in the original packaging at a temperature not higher than 25 °C. Prepared infusion – in a cool (8-15 °C) place for no more than 2 days.
