Aliphatic hydrocarbons

Aliphatic hydrocarbons are organic compounds that do not contain aromatic rings. They can be saturated (alkanes), unsaturated (alkenes, alkynes), or cyclic, but not aromatic.

These compounds are widely used in industry as solvents, fuels, or raw materials for the synthesis of other substances.
