Description

The drug of natural origin helps to get rid of edema of cardiac origin and inflammation of the kidneys, normalizes the work of the urinary system, gall bladder and liver. Intended for adults and children, relieves unpleasant symptoms of the disease and accelerates recovery.

If you suffer from cystitis, urolithiasis, pyelonephritis or other diseases of the urinary system, edema, liver or gall bladder diseases, try birch buds.
They contain a large number of biologically active substances that relieve inflammation, have a diuretic and choleretic effect.

Birch buds are also recommended for laryngitis, bronchitis, tracheitis and other respiratory diseases, as they have an expectorant effect.

To prepare the infusion, you need 1 tbsp. pour 200 ml of boiling water over a spoonful of buds and infuse for 15 minutes in a water bath. Adults should take a third of a glass of the prepared decoction 15-20 minutes before meals 2-3 times during the day.

The main physical and chemical properties: the buds are elongated-conical, pointed or blunt, often sticky. The scales are arranged in a tile-like manner, tightly pressed from the edges, slightly ciliated (the lower ones are shorter than the upper ones and sometimes with tips that lag a little behind); the length of the buds is 3-7 mm, the width is 1.5-3 mm;
the color of the buds is brown, slightly greenish at the base. The smell is balsamic, pleasant. The taste is slightly astringent, resinous.

Due to the chemical composition, preparations of birch buds have a moderate choleretic, diuretic, anti-inflammatory and expectorant effect.

Clinical characteristics.
Indication.
Chronic inflammatory diseases of the kidneys and bladder; urolithiasis; edema of cardiac origin; diseases of the liver and biliary tract with impaired bile secretion; laryngitis, bronchitis, tracheitis.

Contraindication.
Renal failure, acute inflammatory diseases of the kidneys, hypersensitivity to the biologically active substances of the drug, presence of bleeding from the pelvic organs in the anamnesis; anemia; epilepsy.

Method of application and dosage.
Place 1 tablespoon of buds in an enamel dish, pour 200 ml of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and insist in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes. Cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, strain, and squeeze the remainder into a strained infusion. Bring the volume of infusion to 200 ml with boiled water. Adults take ⅓ cup 2-3 times a day 15-20 minutes before meals. Children aged 12-14 years – ¼ cup, over 14 years – ⅓ cup 2-3 times a day 15-20 minutes before meals. It is recommended to shake the infusion before use.
The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor individually.

Children.
Do not prescribe to children under 12 years of age.

Overdose.
There were no reports of drug overdose.

Adverse reactions.
Diarrhea. Manifestations of the irritating effect of the infusion on kidney tissue are possible; allergic reactions, including itching, skin rash, allergic rhinitis, urticaria, hyperemia and swelling of the skin. If adverse reactions occur, you should stop taking the drug and consult a doctor.

Expiration date. 2 years.

Storage conditions.
Store in the original packaging at a temperature not higher than 25 °C; prepared infusion – in a cool (8-15 °C) place for no more than 2 days.
