Place 1 tablespoon of fruit in an enamel dish, pour 200 ml of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and insist in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes. Cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, strain, squeeze the rest to the filtered infusion. Bring the volume of infusion to 200 ml with boiled water.
Take warm 15-20 minutes before meals: adults and children over 14 years of age with flatulence 2-3 times a day, 1/5 cup; for diseases of the upper respiratory tract 4-5 times a day – 1/2-1 tablespoon. Children aged 7-14 years – 1 dessertspoon, aged 3-7 years – 1 teaspoon, children aged 6 months to 3 years – 1/2 teaspoon 4 times a day 15-20 minutes before meals. Shake the infusion before use.

Medicinal form. Fruits
Main physical and chemical properties: individual semi-fruits (mericarps), rarely solid fruits (lop-fruits) 3-7 mm long and 1.5-4 mm wide. The mericarp is broadly elliptical, slightly convex on the dorsal side and flat on the inside. Each mericarp with three filiform dorsal ribs and two flat pterygoid lateral ribs.
The color of the fruit is greenish-brown or brown, the ribs are yellow-brown. The smell is strong and pleasant. The taste is sweet and spicy, slightly burning.
