Description

The drug of natural origin effectively relieves symptoms of colds and other diseases. It softens a cough, helps to thin and remove sputum.

Motherwort has a pronounced anti-inflammatory, choleretic and expectorant effect, and can be used as part of complex therapy for increased nervous excitability, as it has calming properties.

To prepare the infusion, you need 2 tbsp. spoons of the herb pour 200 ml of boiling water and insist 15 minutes in a water bath. Adults should drink a third of a glass of the decoction in 15-20 minutes. before meals 3 times a day.

Inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract (laryngitis, bronchitis, tracheitis); cholecystitis and biliary dyskinesia; decreased appetite, deterioration of digestion, especially with secretory insufficiency of the gastrointestinal tract; enterocolitis, which is accompanied by constipation and flatulence; increased nervous excitability.

Contraindication.
Pregnancy, increased secretion of the gastrointestinal tract, individual sensitivity to biologically active substances contained in the medicinal product; children’s age up to 1 year.

Method of application and dosage.
Place 2 tablespoons of the herb in an enamel dish, pour 200 ml of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and insist in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes. Cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, strain, and squeeze the remainder into a strained infusion. Bring the volume of infusion to 200 ml with boiled water. Adults take ⅓ cup of the infusion warm 3 times a day 15-20 minutes before meals. Children: 1-3 years old – 1 teaspoon each, 3-5 years old – 1 dessert spoon each, 5-7 years old – 1 tablespoon each, 7-12 years old – 2 tablespoons each, 12-14 years old years – ¼ cup, aged 14 and over – ⅓ cup 3 times a day 15-20 minutes before meals.
Place 2 filter bags in a glass or enamel container, pour 100 ml of boiling water, close and insist for 15 minutes. Adults take 100 ml warm 3 times a day 15-20 minutes before meals. For children: 1-3 years old – 2 teaspoons each, 3-5 years old – 2 dessert spoons each, 5-7 years old – 2 tablespoons each, 7-12 years old – 60 ml each, 12-14 years old – 100 ml 3 times a day, 15-20 minutes before meals.

Children.
Do not prescribe to children under 1 year of age. The dose of the drug for children over 1 year of age is determined by the doctor.

Overdose.
There were no reports of drug overdose.

Adverse reactions.
Allergic reactions are possible, including rash, itching and swelling of the skin.

Storage conditions.
