Medicinal product of plant origin helps to get rid of diseases of the oral cavity and upper respiratory tract, as it has a pronounced anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effect.
Sage Leaves / Sage Leaves are intended for the treatment of acute and chronic inflammations. If you have stomatitis, periodontitis, gingivitis, laryngitis, tracheitis or pharyngitis, inhalations or rinsing with sage leaves will help to quickly get rid of inflammation.

The drug not only destroys pathogenic microorganisms, but also reduces the permeability of cell membranes, and has a pronounced hemostatic effect, as it strengthens the walls of blood vessels, so it is also effective in bleeding gums.

Composition:
active substance: sage leaves (Salviae officinalis folium);
1 pack contains sage leaves (Salviae officinalis folium) – 40 g or 50 g or 60 g; 1 filter bag contains sage leaves (Salviae officinalis folium) – 1.5 g.

The main physical and chemical properties:
chopped raw materials: pieces of leaves of various shapes with a small amount of other parts of the plant (pieces of stems, flowers with and without peduncles). The color is green, grayish-green or silvery-white, with blue-violet splashes. The smell is pleasant. The taste is bitter-spicy, slightly astringent;
coarse powder: pieces of leaves of various shapes with a small amount of other parts of the plant (pieces of stems, flowers with and without peduncles), crushed to a size of 3-5 mm. The color is green, grayish-green or silvery-white, with blue-violet splashes. The smell is pleasant. The taste is bitter-spicy, slightly astringent.

Pharmacological properties.
Pharmacodynamics.
Biologically active substances of the leaves tighten epithelial tissues, reduce the permeability of cell membranes, strengthen the walls of damaged blood vessels. They have an astringent, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and hemostatic effect.

Clinical characteristics.
Indication.
Diseases of the oral cavity (stomatitis, gingivitis, periodontitis) and upper respiratory tract (laryngitis, pharyngitis, tracheitis).

Contraindication.
Hypersensitivity to biologically active substances of the drug.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions. Unknown

Features of application.
Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. As prescribed by a doctor in the event that the benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus/child.

The ability to influence the speed of reaction when driving vehicles or other mechanisms. Does not affect.

Method of application and dosage.
Place 1 tablespoon in an enamel dish, pour 200 ml of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and insist in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes. Cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, filter, squeeze the residue to a filtered infusion. Bring the volume of infusion to 200 ml with boiled water. Use externally for inhalation and rinsing 3-4 times a day: for adults and children over 12 years old – undiluted, for children 7-12 years old – dilute 4 tablespoons of infusion in 200 ml of boiled water; children aged 3-7 years – dilute 2 tablespoons of infusion in 200 ml of boiled water.
Place 3 filter bags in a glass or enamel container, pour 200 ml of boiling water, close and infuse for 15 minutes. Use externally for inhalation and rinsing 3-4 times a day: for adults and children over 12 years old – undiluted, for children 7-12 years old – dilute 4 tablespoons of infusion in 200 ml of boiled water; children aged 3-7 years – dilute 2 tablespoons of infusion in 200 ml of boiled water.
The duration of the treatment course is determined by the doctor individually.

Children.
The drug should be used by children over 3 years of age as prescribed by a doctor.

Overdose.
In case of an overdose, an increase in adverse reactions is possible.

Adverse reactions.
Allergic reactions (including hyperemia, rash, itching, skin swelling). If adverse reactions occur, stop using the drug and consult a doctor.

Expiration date. 1 year 6 months.
Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

Storage conditions.
Store in the original packaging at a temperature not higher than 25 °C in a place inaccessible to children; prepared infusion – in a cool place for no more than 2 days.
