Chamomile flowers / Chamomile flowers – relieve pain and inflammation in the organs of the digestive system.

Herbal medicine to normalize the secretion of the liver and gall bladder, has an analgesic, antispasmodic and antiseptic effect, eliminates fermentation processes, increases appetite.
Suitable for use in adults and children from 6 months. Not only relieves general well-being and eliminates symptoms, but also speeds up recovery.

Chamomile flowers are also effective in the fight against inflammatory processes of the throat and oral cavity.

To brew chamomile, it is necessary to pour 3 tbsp. l. chamomile flowers 200 ml of hot boiled water, insist in a water bath for 15 minutes, cool for another 45 minutes, filter. Add boiled water to the resulting broth to a volume of 200 ml. Take 1/3 cup before meals three times a day.

active substance: chamomile flower (Matricariae flos);
1 pack contains chamomile flowers (Matricariae flos) – 40 g or 50 g; 1 filter bag contains chamomile flowers (Matricariae flos) – 1.5 g.

The main physical and chemical properties:
solid raw material: solid flower baskets or baskets that have partially crumbled, hemispherical or conical in shape, without flower stalks or with their remains no longer than 3 cm. The basket consists of marginal reed pistillate and middle bisexual tubular flowers. Inflorescence bare, finely pitted, hollow inside, hemispherical at the beginning of flowering, conical at the end. The wrapper of the basket is shingled, multi-rowed, consisting of numerous elongated leaves with blunt tops and wide membranous edges. The size of the basket (without reed flowers) is 4-8 mm in diameter. The color of reed flowers is white, tubular flowers are yellow, wrappers are yellowish-green. The smell is strong, pleasant. The taste is spicy, bitter, slightly slimy;
coarse powder : a mixture of pieces of tabular and tubular flowers, basket wrappers, and the remains of variously shaped flower stalks. Biologically active substances of the drug have an antispasmodic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, diaphoretic, choleretic effect; reduce allergic reactions, enhance regeneration processes, increase secretory activity of digestive glands, stimulate appetite, eliminate intestinal spasms, reduce fermentation processes.

Method of application and dosage.
Place 3 tablespoons of flowers in an enamel dish, pour 200 ml of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and insist in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes. Cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, filter, squeeze the residue to a filtered infusion. Bring the volume of infusion to 200 ml with boiled water.

Apply warm 3 times a day after meals: adults and children over 14 years old – ⅓ cup each, children aged 12-14 years – ¼ cup each, 7-12 years old – 2 tablespoons each, 3-7 years old – 1 tablespoon each, aged 1-3 years – 1 dessert spoon each, aged 6 months-1 year – ½-1 teaspoon each.

Externally, use the infusion for rinsing 3-4 times a day. Shake the infusion before use.
Place 2 filter bags in a glass or enamel container, pour 200 ml of boiling water, close and infuse for 15 minutes. Apply warm 3 times a day after meals: adults and children over 14 years old – 1 cup each, children aged 12-14 years – ⅔ cup, 7-12 years old – ½ cup each, 3-7 years old – ¼ cup each, 1-3 years old – 2 tablespoons each, 6 months-1 year old – 1 dessert spoon each.
Externally, use the infusion for rinsing 3-4 times a day.

Children.
Apply to children aged 6 months and older as prescribed by a doctor.

Overdose.
There are no messages.

Adverse reactions.
Allergic reactions are possible (including hyperemia, rash, itching and swelling of the skin). If adverse reactions occur, the drug should be discontinued.

The shelf life is 1 year 6 months.

Storage conditions.
Store in the original packaging at a temperature not higher than 25 °C in a place inaccessible to children; store the prepared infusion at a temperature from 8 °C to 15 °C for no more than 2 days.
