What determines the effectiveness of the drug?
Metroviol Denta from PrJSC FF “VIOLA” is used to treat injuries of the mucous membrane, as it quickly eliminates inflammation and has an antibacterial effect. The high efficiency of the drug is due to the combined composition. The drug contains two active components:
- Chlorhexidine. An antiseptic with a bactericidal effect is active against gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms. Also, its effect extends to yeast and dermatophytes.
- Metronidazole. Destroys anaerobic bacteria that cause periodontal disease. It is also active against protozoa and has an anti-inflammatory effect.

Indications for use

- gingivitis of various types in acute or chronic form;
- chronic periodontitis (during periods of exacerbation and remission of the pathology);
- alveolitis (inflammation of the socket after tooth extraction);
- Vincent’s gingivitis (ulcer-necrotic gingivitis in an acute form).
The antibacterial drug can also be used in dentistry for the treatment of mucosal injuries caused by braces or other objects in order to prevent the exacerbation of chronic periodontitis and gingivitis.
How to apply?
It is important to note that Metroviol Denta is intended for adults and can only be used for the treatment of dental diseases. It is necessary to apply the gel in a thin layer on the gums with the help of a finger massage or a cotton swab. The drug should be used twice a day. After applying the gel, you cannot eat, drink or rinse your mouth for 30 minutes.

Contraindications and limitations
